Whimsy's Workshop is a small 3D printing shop based in Utah. This policy explains what information we collect when you visit whimsysworkshop.com or buy from us, and what we do with it. Short version: we collect what we need to make and ship your order, and we don't sell your information to anyone.
What we collect
When you place an order, our store platform, Shopify, collects your name, email, shipping and billing address, phone number if you provide it, and your order details. Payment card information is processed by Shopify's payment system. We never see or store your full card number.
If you create an account, Shopify also stores your login and order history. If you contact us directly, we keep that conversation so we can help you.
Cookies and third-party services
This site uses a few services that may set cookies or collect basic technical information, like your browser type and IP address:
- Shopify runs our cart, checkout, and customer accounts, and uses cookies to remember what's in your cart. See Shopify's privacy policy.
- TikTok powers the video feed on our homepage. TikTok may set cookies when that feed loads. See TikTok's privacy policy.
- Cloudflare hosts and protects this site and may process technical data like IP addresses for security and performance.
- Google Fonts serves the fonts on this site, which means your browser requests them from Google.
You can block or clear cookies in your browser settings. The cart won't remember your items if you do.
How we use your information
We use it to process and ship your order, send order confirmations and shipping updates, answer your questions, handle returns, prevent fraud, and meet our legal and tax obligations. If you sign up for updates, we'll email you about new products, and you can unsubscribe anytime.
Who we share it with
Only the services that help us run the shop: Shopify for orders and payments, shipping carriers to deliver your package, and the providers listed above. We share information with authorities only when the law requires it. We don't sell or rent your personal information.
How long we keep it
We keep order records as long as we need them for accounting, tax, and warranty purposes, then delete them.
Your choices
You can ask us to show you the information we have about you, correct it, or delete it, subject to records we're required to keep. Just reach out using the contact info below.
Kids
This site isn't directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information.
Changes
If we update this policy, we'll change the date at the top of this page.
